The first time I had been to Malaysia, I was impressed by the beauty of nature, and when I met many Malaysian people and exchanged with them the ideas and views, it was really a precious opportunity to discover, in addition to their high sense of responsibility and justice, how friendly and smart they are.

Malaysia is the land of a colored variety of cultures, and presents a unique model of social harmony and successful economic development. In Syria, We admire the Malaysian experience on all levels and appreciate all the political support and positive stands toward all the Arab issues in general, and specially our right in returning back the Syrian Golan Heights occupied by Israel since 1967.

In addition to its important geographic location in the heart of the three continents of the old world, Syria is a space of promising opportunities in the various fields of economy. The Syrian government is very keen to enhance the climate of investment with issuing many legislations encouraging investment, like Law no.10, to give incentives and facilitations to the investors. All this is supported by the raw materials available in Syria, and the skillful and cheap labor. All this will help the flourishing of all kinds of industries, like manufacturing, tourism, services and other.
